I know there are instructions here for installing Swift on linux, but it would be nice to be able to get up and running with Swift on various Linux machines without the hassle of downloading the right version, tarball extraction, etc.

Does anyone know of a 1-liner installation script somewhere, specifically for linux?

If it’s a Debian or Ubuntu based distro then @futurejones package is simple.

Looks like swiftly was designed for exactly this purpose: GitHub - swift-server/swiftly: A Swift toolchain installer and manager, written in Swift.
