Compiler/TSPL Licensing

Hello,

Sorry in advance if this is the wrong venue for this sort of discussion, I wasn't sure where to bring it up! Recently, I've been thinking about how to best expand the coverage of Swift's diagnostic documentation in a sustainable way. I wanted to ask if Apple would be willing to contribute certain excerpts of The Swift Programming Language under Apache 2.0 instead of CC BY 4.0 so that they can be adapted and shipped as part of the compiler toolchain. For example, I'd like to attach documentation to the exclusivity diagnostics, and the Memory Safety chapter of TSPL contains a great explanation of the topic.

Thanks,
Owen

Thanks for bringing up this issue! I've discussed this with a few others, and this is a problem we're interested in finding a solution for.
