Happy Monday!
This week will be a quiet one due to the Swift repo holiday break.
Nevertheless, last week a patch release v2.14.1 was put out. You can find the VSIX files here: https://github.com/swiftlang/vscode-swift/releases/tag/2.14.1
This release addresses issues that were affecting downstream plugins. (Sidenote, do checkout the WendyOS VS Code extension which builds off the Swift VSCode extension!)
Last week we also held the inaugural VSCode Swift Community meeting. Thanks @award999 for organizing and hosting. We had great demos from @matthewbastien @rbenegal and @fpseverino. Thanks to the 15 folks who joined and shared great feedback. We even already have one bug fix thanks to @plemarquand! There is no recording of the meeting (you have to be there!) but for those who couldn’t attend please check out the notes here: November Swift Community meeting.
The next community meeting will be early in the new year, but you can also find some members of the team at the upcoming Dec 9th Swift Server-Side Meetup. Otherwise you can always find folks in the vscode-swift channel in Slack [join the Slack workspace here]
