• Current focus is on database driver implementations

  • SwiftNIO based MySQL client
  • SwiftNIO integration for SQLite APIs

• Swift / SSWG is not ready to make an official API for this yet, we should continue to explore possible solutions
  • GitHub - vapor/fluent-kit: Swift ORM (queries, models, and relations) for NoSQL and SQL databases
  • GitHub - vapor/sql-kit: *️⃣ Build SQL queries in Swift. Extensible, protocol-based design that supports DQL, DML, and DDL.
  • Many more exist, including client-specific libraries
• Focus on building from Swift's strengths, not copying existing solutions

APNSwift

• Looks good so far, but more time to demonstrate maturity would be ideal

MongoDB

• Feedback thread will be posted soon.

Heroku Buildpack

• @Logan_Wright working on proposal.
• This will be the first proposal to use new process
• Last week's meeting notes have more information about the new process.
