Whenever I change the contents of /Library/Developer/Toolchains, Xcode spods for a bit, then spods again. I thought this was normal till I noticed that it does not happen on my colleague’s machine. Any thoughts for what I might try to fix it?

Can you capture a sample of Xcode (`sample Xcode`) while it is spinning? That should help tell us what Xcode is doing or waiting to do.
