Why does Swift stall so often?

Sometime I need to force quit Xcode dozens of times. Does the force quit upset the application?

This question is probably better suited to the Apple developer forums, since Xcode isn't part of the Swift project.

Separately, nobody can help you diagnose hangs without diagnostic data (e.g. a spindump taken while the app is hanging).

I ended up doing a full delete/re-download of Xcode and . . . now everything seems fine.
