I’ve got a general app idea along with MacBook OS Tahoe* and all the developer software but no idea where to start with any of it, if anyone has any suggestions or solutions it would be appreciated

You might find the material on developer.apple.com helpful… there are developer forums there where you can ask general questions about application development, as well as all kinds of sample code and videos that you can use to help you out while you learn how to build an app.
