What we addressed?

Version 2.12 of the Swift Extension for VS Code was released

For users who have swiftly version 1.1+ installed, you can now use VS Code to install and select toolchains using swiftly. Thanks @roulpriya, @cmcgee1024, @matthewbastien for all your hard work to bring this amazing set of features to the Swift extension!

Continued to look into the best approach to improve handling changes to Swift settings. Encouraged by initial investigations

New Issues
- Swiftly post-install script may not work in some Linux environments (#1907)
What’s coming up?

With a large 2.12 release out, we are working to get back into a cadence of releasing once a month

Improve activation for BSP projects

Fixing a couple corner cases found with the Swiftly integration
