A new release (2.16.2) of the VS Code Swift Extension was just published. This release includes numerous bug fixes and quality of life improvements such as:
- Avoid rapidly resolving packages during rebases (#2125)
- Launch configurations defined in multi-root workspaces were unable to find the appropriate folder to run in (#2105)
- Fix annoying build progress rendering in the status bar (#2150)

You can update to this version directly from VS Code or any editor connected to the OpenVSX marketplace. Additionally the vsix bundle for use with other IDEs is available from the release page: swift-vscode-2.16.2.vsix
