The fifth item of the Commonly Rejected Changes is a change suggested by the current review of SE-0243. So this is just a reminder that it needs to be updated soon.

I saw that, but you did it too soon. We don't know if it'll be accepted. Some people in that thread seem to feel that it was a good thing that the idea was considered a bad one.
It's still the case that such changes are no longer dismissed out-of-hand.
Right, that's why I removed it. Not to suggest that ti will be accepted for sure.
