Every time I use a double comma (, ,) in a sentence discourse thinks it’s a typo and turns it into a single comma. can this be turned off?? it changes the meaning of the post

First, why would you ever use two consecutive commas?
Second, if you really need them, then put a backslash between them: “,\,” becomes “,,”.
Third, if you want to type two or more periods without Discourse converting them into an ellipsis character, the same backslash trick works.
