I'm excited to share that Pterocos (https://pterocos.eu.org) now supports Swift! It's a free, browser-based editor that runs directly in your browser with no setup, no signup and no installation.
Key Features:
Online Swift editor for quick prototyping and testing
Powered by the Monaco Editor (same engine as VS Code)
Built-in AI assistant for debugging and code generation
Runs code client-side via WebAssembly
Supported Swift Versions:
6.1, 6.0, 5.10, 5.9, and 5.8
It's perfect for trying out Swift snippets, experimenting with algorithms, or testing code across different Swift versions. The project is completely free and open-source.
I'd love to get your feedback on the Swift integration. What features would be most useful for the Swift community?
Are usernames used on a local device only? Or am I signing up into an online service?
The username dialog box contains links to Terms of service and Privacy policy. When trying to open them in a new tab, the same username dialog appears. Hmm, I would like to read these before singing up, not after.
Edit: Oh, I should've just clicked on them, not trying to open in a new tab.
