I've just opened 5.0: optimise installed packages by ianpartridge · Pull Request #135 · apple/swift-docker · GitHub which is a proposal for optimising the contents of the Swift 5 Docker images. Please do take a look and give your feedback. It's important that these images meet the needs of the project, major server-side frameworks, and the broader community.
