Once again the SSWG is excited to announce that our next sync, on the 17th of June will be available to anyone from the Swift community who is interested. The meeting will be held on Zoom from 2pm to 3pm PDT.

You are welcome to just observe but we will ask for any additional agenda items at the start of the meeting or you can add them to this thread. At the discretion of SSWG members, these may be discussed after existing business, time permitting. Company confidential matters will not be discussed.

In the interest of growing the ecosystem, is it possible to get an update on Windows support?

I would love to be able to organize a workshop for my students, but 90% of them are on Windows. I could fall back to Ubuntu (in a VM) as a backup, but we will soon require Ubuntu 26.04, which is not yet supported.

@svanimpe That's nowadays outside of the scope of interest of the server workgroup I think, though @platform-steering-group could be more able to provide an update?

You'd want to ask here, as Konrad says.

You will be happy to know that 26.04 CI are being spun up, and trunk snapshot toolchains for 26.04 are now finally available, just not surfaced as public links on the website install pages yet.
