Hi all, I'm Gary and I build NoMac. Sharing it here because it's a developer tool for Swift work that doesn't need a Mac on your desk.
NoMac starts a macOS VM on Apple silicon with Xcode 27 (and Xcode 26.6 beside it) and the iOS 26 and 27 Simulators, in about a minute. You use it over SSH, a CLI, an HTTPS API or MCP, so a coding agent like Claude Code or Codex can build, run the tests and the Simulator, take screenshots and send a signed build to TestFlight. VS Code or Cursor can also connect with Remote-SSH. Each session is a fresh VM that's deleted when it stops; a per-account drive keeps the project and the build cache, so the next build is incremental.
It's billed by the minute ($0.80 an hour) from prepaid credit. It's meant for Swift developers on Windows or Linux who need Xcode and the Simulator now and then, and for people whose agents need a real Mac. Docs: nomac.app/install. Happy to answer questions.
