I've interests in doing this project as my project this year for google summer of code, I've already talked to @harlanhaskins and he gave me the google repo for swift with format branch, I was wondering what else I should be familiar with or have before application process starts soon, thanks

I've been using swiftformat library already for a while and I just love it and I was planning to contribute to it but official support will be much better indeed!
