Hide desktop disks and desktop files

Can Swift hide and show desktop disks and desktop files?

Desktop disks can be controlled in Finder Preferences. Desktop files and folders can hided and showed with the terminal. I also can control both with AppleScript. I could not finde any way to hide and show them with Swift. Is that possible?

Hello @nar, this is a question best suited for a different forum (like the apple dev forums or stackoverflow,) as this problem has nothing to do with Swift the language, as it's a macOS specific thing.
