GSoC 2026 accepted projects

:waving_hand: Hello folks,

The Swift organization received numerous fantastic project proposals, and we would have loved to run them all. However, we made a difficult decision and accepted the following projects:

Project Title Participant Mentors
Task and TaskGroup Tracking for Swift Concurrency Ege Kaya @mike_ash @al45tair
Qualified Name Lookup for swift-syntax Filip Sakellariou @xedin
DocC Language Features in SourceKit-LSP Padmashree S S @snprajwal @matthewbastien

:tada: Congratulations to the accepted participants! We look forward to working with you and seeing the results of the projects .

To the other applicants: we would like to thank you for your interest in the GSoC program and the time you put into it. We hope, and encourage you, to participate and get involved with the Swift community outside of this year’s GSoC program.

Cheers,

Sam (@bkhouri) and Konrad (@ktoso)
