Hello everyone,
we received a lot of really fantastic projects and we wish we could have run them all ![]()
We did receive 4 project slots and have accepted the following projects:
- Improve the display of documentation during code completion in SourceKit-LSP - Ahmed Elrefaey, mentored by @hamishknight
- JNI mode for swift-java’s source jextract tool - Mads Odgaard, mentored by @ktoso
- Swiftly Integration in VS Code - Priyambada Roul, mentored by @matthewbastien and @cmcgee1024
- Improved Console Output for Swift Testing - Tien Quoc Bui @smontgomery
Congratulations to the accepted contributors and we look forward to working with you and seeing the results of those projects!
To all other applicants: we'd like to once again thank you for your proposals and time spent. There was a lot of good proposals and the choice to select those four top ones was very difficult. I hope you'll manage to find a way to participate in the Swift community even without GSoC and we'd love to hear from you in the future. There's also next year's GSoC to keep in mind ![]()
Please look forward to mid-cycle updates about projects, or follow along as they are developed in the open ![]()
