I've bumbled my way through writing a Swift app for MacOS using lousy AI, YouTube, and HackingWithSwift and now have most features rudimentarily coded and learned a lot about what I don't know. At this point I'd like to phone a programmer who can advise on organizing the code, review for proper and efficient code, and help add some basic functions like save and import/export that should be trivial for the experienced programmer. The app is for my personal use, recreating an abandoned app which will not be available on the M chips in the future, and my goal is not to be come a programmer myself. I will continue chipping away at useful topics but wondering if it would be worth working with a seasoned coding buddy, using a service such as codementor.
