Expected timeline for proposal review?

Hi,

My SwiftPM proposal, which I posted about 6–7 weeks ago, has not seen much follow-up since the pitch stage: [Proposal] Add proposal for opt-in exact matching of version identifiers with build metadata by bc-lee · Pull Request #3188 · swiftlang/swift-evolution · GitHub

I believe the proposal is relatively small in scope, but it addresses a legitimate use case, and some of my downstream work depends on it.

I understand that it may be too late for this to land in Swift 6.4, which is scheduled for release this September, but I would still like to understand what the next steps might be.

Could someone share what the expected next steps are, or whether there is anything I can do to help move this toward review?

Hey,

Thanks for giving this a bump. We have it in our agenda for the Ecosystem Steering Group to discuss this in the upcoming weeks. There are a few other items on our agenda that we have to finalize before this one but we will get back to you with further details as soon as possible.
