I'm pleased to announce the third Embedded Swift Community Hour—a relaxed meetup for sharing ideas, learning together, and discussing Embedded Swift development.
Show & Tell : We're looking for 1–2 volunteers to briefly share an embedded project—past or present. A quick 5–10 minute walkthrough is perfect (shorter is fine!). No need for slides or polish—just a casual demo or discussion.
Open Topics: Following that, the hour will open for broader discussions. If you have specific topics you're interested in, please feel free to post them in the thread. I'll do my best to steer the conversation and cover as many topics as we reasonably can.
Everyone is welcome, so please feel free to invite anyone you think might be interested. This is a laid-back space to ask questions, share experiences, and learn from each other—whether you're an experienced developer or just starting out.
I have been interested in this meetup since the first one, but I was hesitant because I am not good at English voice communication. So if possible, I would like to know what the past two meetups were like.
The previous two times, we had a live video/audio chat room, but also a regular text channel (#embedded) and we encouraged people to use that channel for any discussions that are better to have in text
I'd say feel free to join for the hour, and start/join discussions in the text channel.
Most samples in swift-embedded-examples will start using toolsets and leverage SwiftPM to link, this is the easiest way to get "everything" to work inluding LSP
Documentation: Moved to swift-embedded-examples, and we are looking for community help fleshing out articles and guides -- Evolving Embedded Swift Documentation
We had 18 people in the discussion. Looking forward to the next time
