Editing the User Card Badge results in a 404

In the profile settings hitting the edit button for the User Card Badge ends up on the 404 page.
Is there a way to remove this setting if they're not used? Or (if they're used) is there a way to disable the edit button in case there aren't any badges?

I would like this to be used to have badges for Core Team members, contributors, etc.
