We are happy to announce the opening of the development phase for Swift 6.4.3.

  • Merge window close: Nov 17th 2026
  • Planned release: End of Nov 2026
  • Release manager: @mishal_shah (shahmishal on GitHub)
  • Process documentation
  • Changes for Swift version 6.4.3 should be made on the release/6.4.3 branch.
    • If you recently made changes to release/6.4.x after September 11th, they won’t be included in release/6.4.3 unless you cherry-picked them into release/6.4.2.
