After the first release of the official Swift 6.3 SDK for Android in March, some devs wrote up their experiences this summer, which can be a useful guide for other devs and feedback for the Android and Swift workgroups (Caveat: as with all online posts these days, I have no idea how much of these posts was generated by LLMs).

Matija Kruljac of Ignit Group wrote up a highly detailed post on his experiences in April, which was very complimentary of the swift-java bridge while noting what it was missing:
"The generated JNI code is boring, which is the highest compliment you can pay a code generator. There is no debugger theatre, no manually freeing references, no memory leak hunts after the demo. Strings are copied across the boundary the way you'd expect, value types are marshalled by value, and exceptions are surfaced as Java exceptions with their Swift error descriptions attached." -
Ugo Arangino wrote up his presentation for the restarted CocoaHeads Cologne in May, going through our Android examples to see how they work.

Some Korean tech training site blogged about what they read about the SDK in July.
