Debian Trixie etc

So it is almost a year since Debian Trixie has been released, and Swift still doesn't have official Docker images. I am not posting this to complain, but rather to ask the question:

Who is responsible for driving Swift adoption on stable Linux distribution releases?

I poked someone a few months back and progress on that issue has been made, but here we are still without an official image.

This is a serious problem in my humble opinion. I mean it's Debian… not some esoteric distribution. Which workgroup would be responsible and what is the process so this simply does not happen?

Trunk CI for both Trixie x86_64 and AArch64 were set up last month. Both were building fine, but there was some config change on Friday that broke most of the trunk linux toolchain CI, not just these two. I don't see CI for the new 6.4.x branch (Edit: 6.4.x Dockerfiles for Trixie were just added this weekend, so Trixie CI for 6.4 are likely being spun up now), while the stable release branches like 6.3 may not add new distros this late.

I asked last year if there will be distro owners going forward and there likely will, maybe you will volunteer for Debian. In the meantime, maybe the linux release manager, @mishal_shah, can let us know what the plans are for Trixie support.
