Hey, congrats on the significant milestone for TCA 1.0. There is a repo owned by pointfree - composable-core-location which is now outdated. My main question do you have a plan to keep supporting it? I saw some PRs from community members who aim to fix compatibility issues. Should consumers think about fork as a long-term solution? Can you please share your vision?
We plan on merging this PR in some fashion soon for TCA 0.57 support. It'd be nice to offer a 1.0-compatible solution in the future that utilizes Swift concurrency (this other PR started that work, but I think there's some more work to do to get it across the finish line).
Hi @stephencelis,
I'm currently working on a project that utilizes the Location API. However, we're facing an issue where updating to the latest version of the TC API is blocked due to compatibility issues with the Location API.
Could you please let me know if there are any plans to update the Location API to resolve this conflict? Alternatively, do you have any guidelines or documentation on how to safely remove the Location API from our project?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Kind regards,
Edson Schlei
We're interested in the above PR landing, but it's been a draft for a long time now.
