Last summer, there was a thread about retiring the Sequence protocol and effectively merging it with Collection. There was a fair amount of exploratory work that went into it, and it looks like a working implementation was even produced. However, no conclusion was ever reached.

Is something like this even still possible, post-ABI-stability? Or has the door been closed on that kind of change?
