Can we downrank the CI Notifications category in search results?

When using the search function on this forum, my search results are often dominated by irrelevant (at least for me) posts from the CI Notifications category.

Here's a recent example: when searching for scalar properties alias, the top 3 results are CI notifications:

I looked for a syntax to ignore a given category with special search terms, but as far as I can tell, Discourse doesn't support such a syntax.

However, Discourse does support a sitewide upranking or downranking of specific categories in search results. According to Discourse Meta > Search Improvements in 2.3 (from 2019):

Each individual category can be configured with a search priority which you can find under the Settings tab when creating/editing a category. Five levels for prioritization have been added: ignore, very low, low, high and very high.

So I'd like to ask the forum admins to downrank the CI Notifications category to "very low" or possibly even "ignore" (even when set to "ignore", people could still search the category by explicitly asking to search in it).

What do others think? Are you also bothered my the "noise" added by CI notifications in search? Or would you prefer it not being downranked/ignored?

They appear to be 2021 at the most recent - so maybe worth removing the posts/category completely.

Ha, I didn't even notice that the category is no longer being used. I've had it muted for a long time (in Settings > Preferences > Tracking), but that user setting doesn't translate to muting it in search results.
