Work is underway to create a new swift.org use case page for creating Windows apps.
Context
As part of the swift.org redesign, a new “Create using Swift” section was added to the homepage highlighting different Swift use cases. Three of these were created with brand new content: cloud services, command line tools, and embedded software.
Several use cases linked to existing content: iOS apps, Windows apps, machine learning & AI, and packages. Work is beginning to create new content for both the Windows apps and packages use case.
Use case pages have a mix of types of content:
- Why you'd choose Swift for the use case
- Examples of ecosystem activity (relevant packages, tools, production use)
- Getting started tutorial
- Links to additional resources (documentation, articles, community channels, etc)
There has been some discussion in the website workgroup and Information Architecture Project about whether this new content should live in DocC. At this initial stage we'll focus on compiling the best content and can make a decision on its presentation that's informed by that content.

Community participation and contribution is encouraged!
