Is there a way to reply to a post without bumping the thread in the latest list? Sometimes I just want to respond to someone in a topic, but the response itself doesn't really warrant putting it at the top of the latest. This is akin to saging a thread, if you're familiar with some image boards.
Also related, is there a way to stop edits from bumping the latest? It's kind of annoying seeing some topics moved to the top only because the last post was edited.
I’d say if it’s not worth bumping the thread, then consider direct-messaging whoever you want to reply to. I think you can even include multiple recipients.
