Anyone here transitioned from Swift-native iOS game development to Unity?

I’ve been working on iOS games for a while and started off using native Swift and SpriteKit. Recently, I’ve been exploring Unity for a few prototypes. While Swift gives you great integration with Apple frameworks, Unity’s cross-platform potential is tempting.

Just curious—how are others here managing the trade-offs between native performance and portability? Do you think Swift still has a viable future in serious game development compared to Unity’s ecosystem?

You can use Godot with Swift
