Hello everyone,
The review of SE-0477: Default Value in String Interpolations ended on April 29, 2025.
Feedback during the review was positive overall. The proposal author agreed with a suggestion to change the type of the default parameter to @autoclosure () -> some StringProtocol, with the understanding that it would be straightforwardly optimizable. The language steering group agreed that the proposal should be accepted with that modification.
