Hello Swift community,
The review of ST-0027: Macro for getting the current source location concluded on August 13, 2026, and the Testing Workgroup decided that the proposal is accepted.
There were a couple questions raised by reviewers about the spelling of this macro and the fact that it currently requires module qualification, but workgroup members felt those topics were adequately addressed by the proposal and that its design doesn't preclude further refinements in the compiler or standard library. They agreed the feature is worthwhile since it facilitates writing test helper utilities.
