The review for SE-0531: Literal Expressions has concluded and the proposal has been accepted.
Feedback was light and focused on a handful of topics:
- Some reviewers expressed concern about the name "literal expressions" for this feature. The Language Steering Group notes that this name would only appear in documentation, it is not used in the feature itself. It is expected that this is the start of a series of features, involving other aspects like generic arguments, and that this will likely help shape the naming of this general area as it evolves.
- On that topic, some reviewers enquired about support for other features but the LSG believes this is a good starting point, with other features being added by subsequent proposals.
- One clarification was made to the proposal by the authors:
@usableFromInlinetypes cannot be used with this feature.
