Hello Swift community,
The review of SE-0509 ran from February 2nd to February 19th, 2026 and the proposal has been accepted.
The community's feedback in the review thread was light but overall positive. The Ecosystem Steering Group believes this is an important step to further the supply chain security of the Swift package manager. As always, I'd like to thank the community for its thoughtful contributions during the pitch and review of this proposal. The community's involvement helps to make Swift a better language.
