The review of SE-0200 "SE-0200: Enhancing String Literals Delimiters to Support Raw Text" ended on August 29, 2018. The proposal is accepted.
Feedback was strongly positive. The main concers came from the use of the term "raw string", which several reviewers felt was inaccurate due to the support for interpolation within #"..."#
strings. The core team felt that support for interpolation was one of the great strengths of this proposal, and that the issue is one of terminology. We suggest that this feature be called "extending escaping in string literals", to emphasize that the proposal is changing the way escaping works within the string literals rather than providing "raw" text.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the reviews for this proposal. I'd also like to especially thank the authors, who took the feedback from the first review and produced a heavily-revised and significantly improved proposal.
