Swift on Android is going fast, and both the SDK and Swift-Java projects have been making huge progress! We've heard a lot of people want to help out by contributing to open source, but are finding it hard to know how to get started.

As such, we're organizing a call 2025-12-20T14:00:00Z at [Video Meetings, Video Conferencing, and Screen Sharing - Whereby (formerly appear.in)](https://whereby.com/opensource-swift) to help you (aspiring new contributors) to get started! If you're not yet ready to get your feet wet - no problem - you can also just listen in.

We'll have Android Workgroup members attend the call as well, to answer questions and help guide you on your journey.

For those interested in Swift \<-\> Java interoperability, a critical component of Swift on Android, those calls are a perfect opportunity as well!
