Swift Infrastructure Holiday Schedule - 12/21/2018 - 1/1/2019

In the next couple weeks, most of the people who do the day to day maintenance of the continuous integration bots and infrastructure will be on vacation in observance of the various (US) winter holidays. In order to keep the builds stable while the maintainers are out on break, we will be observing the following schedule for availability and maintenance of the Swift Open Source infrastructure and associated repositories:

  • We will be locking the branches in the Swift repos from 12/21 to 1/1. PR testing will still be available, but you will not be able to merge changes until 1/1
  • Response for infrastructure issues and bot triage from 12/21 to 1/1 will be "best effort”. If you see an important issue, please report it in the forums (you can tag the forum admins for extra visibility) or via email at swift-infrastructure@swift.org

Just the Swift repo, or all the Swift project repos (swift-clang, swift-corelibs-*, swift-package-manager, sourcekit-lsp, etc.)?

All the Swift project repos

Hi Nicole, is my understanding correct that the tensorflow branch will be locked as well? Part of the Swift for TensorFlow team will be working 12/26-12/28. Is it possible to keep the tensorflow branch open in that time frame?

We can leave the tensorflow branch unlocked :-)

Awesome! Thanks Nicole.

master and swift-5.0-branch are locked!

Happy Holidays!

Happy New Year! The branches have been unlocked.
