Source vs Sources

What is the preferred canonical directory name for Swift source code?

"Source" sounds right to my ear because it's short for "source code".

However, "Sources" seems to be in more common usage, at least at Apple and in the current examples/documentation for SPM.

I'd rather adopt something more likely to be in common usage than go with something where the lack of the trailing "s" is going to be a long-term source of mental toe-stubbing.

Any guidance appreciated!

Thanks,
E.

We encourage “Sources”, but all of “src”, “srcs”, “Source” and “Sources” are fully supported.
