A section for newer Swift developers to interact and build their skills. Also if there was a way to highlight open source projects either in community Github repos or the official Swift repo that beginners or newer developers could dip their toes into contributing to open source.
For your interest, this was already proposed while the forum was in beta Proposal and Timeline for Discourse Transition - #14 by Nicole_Jacque
The idea is to keep the categories short until there is a real need for them.
Are you talking about development with Swift, or development of Swift (the compiler, stdlib, etc.)? If the latter, I think the Development category (and all its sub-categories) is an appropriate place even for beginners.
