Is borrowing not the name for this kind of ownership. AFAIK this is the name that already means a specific kind of ownership.

Maybe Lease and MutableLease would be clearer?

There are other words with similar meaning, like grant, hold and bond.

Bond and MutableBond could work too.

I dunno. I'm just sharing a few options from my thesaurus, hoping it's helpful.

The LSG has accepted this proposal with modifications, using the type names Ref and MutableRef.
