So I ran into issues with marking the epochs as back deployed; this is 100% an implementor detail and not a contingent part of the pitch, but currently I don't think it can easily be done due to some gnarly issues around the inline/frozen requirements of the calls.
If we are willing to burn a if check inside this (which seems reasonable) it can be done. But again no promises.
The fall-back position is no, but the attempt will be "maybe". Sorry for the wishy/washy answer.
