# \[Review\] SF-0008: Support notation when formatting currencies

Hello Swift community,

The review of [SF-0008: Support notation when formatting currencies](https://github.com/apple/swift-foundation/blob/ac5770ee24c9b57370ad3dcc3a9715fae586f603/Proposals/0008-notation-formatting-for-currencies.md) begins now and runs through Monday, March 11, 2024.

All review feedback should be either on this forum thread or, if you would like to keep your feedback private, directly to me as the review manager by email or [DM](https://forums.swift.org/u/itingliu/summary). When contacting the review manager directly, please put "SF-0008" in the subject line.

If you'd like to try this proposal out, you can check out [the pull request](https://github.com/apple/swift-foundation/pull/449).

##### What goes into a review?

The goal of the review process is to improve the proposal under review  
through constructive criticism and, eventually, determine the direction of  
Foundation. When writing your review, here are some questions you might want to  
answer in your review:

- What is your evaluation of the proposal?
- If you have used other languages or libraries with a similar  
feature, how do you feel that this proposal compares to those?

Wonderful. Last year, my team bumped into the absence of this and it'll be great to remove our non-locale aware code and replace it with this.
