A proposal co-author showed me a potential post before going live. He asked if it was good to go.

My response?

Oh no, it's less than 10 characters. Fine. So I made it more emphatic:

And I tried to reply with that but Discourse, bless its little pedantic heart, would have none of that.

Isn't this a little bit overkill? Can we perhaps tone down the "help"? As the great John Finnemore stated, the solution to the problem of being too helpful is not being more helpful.

Ah, I had already set the post length minimum to be 2 characters, but apparently there's a separate setting for "personal post" which I think is what you hit. I've adjusted that one as well now.
