# How can I make Swift profile public?

I have created profile on Swift and it is not showing public. How can I change the profile status to public from hide?

Do you mean you created an account on the forums? Sometimes new accounts have to be reviewed before they’re allowed to post.

I think OP is referring to the ability to view another poster’s profile, which IIRC was disabled site-wide for all users sometime after [the ability to opt into hiding it was added](https://forums.swift.org/t/disable-stats-section-in-user-profiles/15455/16).
