Help potential developers get up to speed Print Thread

Hi,

I know that some open source groups label tasks or bugs as "good-starter-
issues" so that new developers have an easier time being getting up to speed.

Could we possibly do something similar for the Swift group (as in a Jira
Label/Filter) to get people comfortable in the swift codebase?

Hi, Naren. We actually have such a label—"StarterBug <Issues · apple/swift · GitHub we haven't really been using it in a principled way yet, nor have we (the Swift team at Apple) set aside time to deliberately populate it. It's definitely a good idea, though, so thanks for bringing it up!
