Hi everyone,
Swift will be applying to Summer of Code again this year, so it's time to start collecting project ideas.

> Google Summer of Code is a global, online program focused on bringing new contributors into open source software development. GSoC Contributors work with an open source organization on a 12+ week programming project under the guidance of mentors.

To prepare for this, please read the contributor guide (and mentor guide if you're interested), available on the GSoC website: [Guides | Google Summer of Code | Google for Developers](https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/resources/guide)

If you have **project ideas** (also as candidate, or if you'd like to become a mentor), [please submit them as a pull requests](https://github.com/apple/swift-org-website/edit/main/gsoc2025/index.md) to this page: [Swift.org - Project Ideas for GSoC 2025](https://www.swift.org/gsoc2025/).
