The [`Development > DocC`](https://forums.swift.org/c/development/swift-docc/80) category is starting to become the default catchall for anything vaguely symbolgraph or API reference-related:

- [Are the standard library symbol graph files available for Swift.org toolchains?](https://forums.swift.org/t/are-the-standard-library-symbol-graph-files-available-for-swift-org-toolchains/55386)

- [Is `Symbol.type` always `nil`? [SymbolKit]](https://forums.swift.org/t/is-symbol-type-always-nil-symbolkit/55171)

- [Adding abstracts for synthesized methods or default implementations](https://forums.swift.org/t/adding-abstracts-for-synthesized-methods-or-default-implementations/54912)

- [Links to sources in generated documentation](https://forums.swift.org/t/links-to-sources-in-generated-documentation/55134)

these topics don’t have a lot to do with the DocC tool specifically, and it’s not clear where to draw the line. for example, i posted [DocC-style API reference now available for NIOCore, \_Concurrency, and Swift modules](https://forums.swift.org/t/docc-style-api-reference-now-available-for-niocore-concurrency-and-swift-modules/55320) a while back, which ended up getting moved to ‘Community Showcase’.

it also seems inconsistent given that:

- [`swift-argument-parser`](https://forums.swift.org/c/related-projects/argumentparser/60), [`swift-numerics`](https://forums.swift.org/c/related-projects/swift-numerics/56), and [`swift-system`](https://forums.swift.org/c/related-projects/system/68) are all “Related Project”s

- Jazzy and Entrapta both predate DocC by at least a few years, and neither of them have a special category devoted to them.

Can we get a category just for documentation generation + API reference -related discussions?
