What's the plan of attacking the myriad of imported open tickets from Jira? Is anyone really looking at those?

I regularly visit the ones affecting me and now I found one, e.g. [SR-15462] Regression: Swift 5.5 on Linux doesn't see extension on `timeval_t` · Issue #57767 · apple/swift · GitHub, which can be closed, but neither me nor the original reporter has the permissions to close it.

Thousands of open and stale tickets against Swift are not looking good IMO…

I just closed that one for you. I think more generally if you bump them with a note that they can be closed, someone can do so.
